The 11th Annual Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice Symposium was attended by over 100 nurses from throughout the region. This continuing nursing education activity (Nov. 7-8, 2019) was approved for 7.0 nursing contact hours by the Northeast Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Little did we know that #12 would need to take place 2 years later and be held in virtual fashion. But commitment, patience and a huge learning curve, allowed us to present the 12th Annual NREBP Symposium October. 29, 2021 - Zoom-style!

Christina Bushey, RN, VA-BC was this year's poster winner. The title of her poster - Do Patients With a History of Intravenous Drug Use (IVDU) Requiring Long Term Antibiotics Require a Prolonged Hospitalization? - was selected as the best poster among her peers at the Symposium.

Nicole Dragoon, MSN, RN, OCN was runner up with her poster, Efficacy of Standardized Patients in Simulation: An ADN Students’ Perspective.

Pictured with each of the winners is Sue Murdock, DNP, APRN, GNP-BC who has been involved with the Symposium since its beginning in 2009.
